After three years: How Corona has developed in Bavaria

Three years ago today, the first German Corona patient was hospitalized in Munich. On January 27, 2020, a family man and employee of the Webasto company reported to a clinic. He had contracted the disease from a Chinese colleague in a meeting and was thus considered the first patient in Germany. Since then, more than 6 million COVID-19 infections have been recorded in Bavaria alone, and more than 28,000 deaths. More than 26 million Covid vaccinations have been administered throughout the state. Twice vaccinated and thus basic immunized are now 75% of the population in Bavaria. Although the situation has eased in the meantime, some effects have remained to this day: For example, there are still fewer business trips and more home offices.
