Arming Ukraine: US to deploy dozens of Abrams tanks

On Tuesday, the US said it would authorize the deployment of dozens of Abrams tanks to Ukraine. The decision could be announced as early as Wednesday. Until now, Washington had been reluctant to send the high-tech tanks to Ukraine due to their complexity. Berlin had tied the delivery of German Leopard tanks to the deployment of American tanks.
