Military experts estimate that around 50 percent of Russian soldiers deployed in Ukraine are believed to be dead or wounded. Of the maximum 127,000 soldiers deployed, about 12,000 are said to have been killed. However, according to "Focus.de," it is suspected that Russia may have deployed as few as 110,000 soldiers. This is according to different reports from Russia, Ukraine and foreign observations.
