Three cars completely burned out - Kripo investigates

Heidelberg (ots) For reasons unknown so far, a Seat Leon, which was parked in a parking lot in Buchwaldweg in the district of Boxberg, caught fire late Wednesday evening around 23:30. The fire quickly spread to two other cars and severely damaged another vehicle due to the great heat effect. The total damage is estimated at about 60,000 euros. The fire experts of the criminal police department Heidelberg took over the further investigations. According to initial findings, there were two young men in the immediate vicinity of the scene of the fire who, as potential witnesses, could provide important information to the investigators.
