New Christkind: Nelli Lunkenheimer in private
On the first of December, Nelli will open the world-famous Christkindlesmarkt in her angelic costume. But until then, she will be wearing a different outfit at least once a week: her tennis outfit. Instead of Christmas carols and Advent poems, she is currently focusing on her serve, top spin and backhand. The high school student has been playing tennis at TSV Altenfurt for around two and a half years. Coaches and teammates agree: Nelli was born to be a Christmas child. The 17-year-old is still one of many tennis players in the Noris region. But that will change from December onwards, when the Christ Child will have over 150 matches to play.
