Thinking outside the box - balance sheet of the 2020 corona protest

In April of this year, Stuttgart-based IT entrepreneur Michael Ballweg founded the 711 movement outside of the box. Initially, only a few took part in the demonstrations directed against the measures that the government is taking to contain the corona pandemic People. But as early as May, more than 10,000 demonstrators gathered on the Cannstatter Wasen in Stuttgart to protest together. Over the course of the year, lateral thinking develops nationwide into the code of a counter-public that wants to unite the most diverse political currents. We have accompanied the Stuttgart initiative time and again and talked about the demonstrations with organizers, participants and critics.
