Empty store windows and locked store doors are now increasingly part of the cityscape. In Nuremberg, too, the gaps in the city center are large. In addition to City Point, another large shopping complex in the old town, Galeria Karstadt-Kaufhaus, is now empty. The city itself does not speak of a "vacancy problem. Nevertheless, solutions are needed.
