Sneaker hype: A sneaker collector reports on his passion

Danijel Balasević has been collecting sneakers since he was 16, and at peak times he had around 700 pairs of sneakers at home. Now there are around 350 pairs left, but the value of his sneaker collection is in the six-figure range. Selected sneaker models from his collection are part of the "Gier" exhibition at the Museum Haus der Geschichte in Stuttgart. We met Danijel there and talked to him about his passion for collecting sneakers, his beginnings as a collector and his favorite sneakers
