"Hype" - The Rap Musical Series

Musa (Soufiane El Mesaudi) is 20 years old and a passionate rapper from the Porz district of Cologne. He tries to support his family with temporary jobs and occasional drug deals. His music is everything to him: escape, dream and - Musa hopes - soon his career, his hype. He tries to get signed to label boss Jafar, writes new songs and shoots a music video. But not everyone is on his side: Musa gets caught between the fronts of drug dealer Emo, the police and those who want to oust Emo from the neighborhood.
