Bolshoi Don Cossacks present new CD | Studio21

The famous male choir Bolshoi Don Cossacks is the only one consisting exclusively of opera soloists. After the illness of Serge Jaroff, Petja Houdjakov took over some members of the Don Cossack Choir at the beginning of the 80s and built up a new choir. To distinguish the ensemble from some small, often amateur groups it was called bolschoi (=big). This does not only mean the size of the choir of up to 60 artists, but also the voices, the dancers and the musicians are "bolschoi. Now the new CD Gesang fürs Leben is available and was presented in our studio.
