The new Volkswagen Tayron - Large SUV parked easily - the parking assistants in detail

The new Tayron will come standard with "Park Assist Plus". Optionally, as "Park Assist Pro", there will also be a memory function and a remote function. In principle, both systems - "Park Assist Plus" and "Park Assist Pro" - initially enable the familiar assisted parking from other Volkswagen models in longitudinally or transversely arranged parking spaces. Assisted pulling out of longitudinal parking spaces is also possible. The Tayron takes over acceleration, braking, and steering. Since 2024, the first models and thus also the Tayron available for order from autumn have the memory function. With this feature, the system records the last 50 meters driven and thus the parking situation. When the SUV comes to a stop, the parking maneuver can be saved. When the Tayron reaches the starting position again, it automatically offers to take over the parking. Self-parking is also possible. Up to five parking maneuvers can be saved. Adapted from the Touareg to the Tayron is the Remote Parking. The remote function, in conjunction with the "Volkswagen Park Assist Pro" app, allows the Tayron to be parked in and out from the outside and thus remotely controlled via smartphone.
