Since 2001, the International Supplier Exchange (IZB) has been taking place in Wolfsburg (Lower Saxony). Over 800 companies from around the world meet there, producing parts or machinery for major car brands. This year, the mood is as bad as it has been in a long time. A Qi charging cradle charges your smartphone wirelessly. Safety is ensured by the enhanced Eyesight system, which combines various assistance systems such as emergency braking, active lane keeping and lane control, stop-and-go assist, and multinational traffic sign recognition. A driver detection system that warns of drowsiness and distraction, as well as radar-based lane change, blind spot, and rear cross-traffic assist are also on board. The Subaru model is powered by a 100 kW/136 hp 2.0-liter boxer gasoline engine, assisted by a small electric motor. The standard e-Boxer mild hybrid system improves responsiveness and fuel efficiency. Power is transferred to all four wheels by the continuously variable Lineartronic automatic transmission.
