Road to climate neutrality: Port of Hamburg creates e-trucks

35,000 tons per year is roughly the amount of CO2 emitted by trucks in the Port of Hamburg every year. The political goal of making the port climate-neutral by 2050 still seems a long way off. But things are moving forward: three battery-powered semitrailer trucks are going into test operation at the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) - and many more could follow.
