The BMW iX has reached series production readiness and will be on roads worldwide as early as November 2021. The BMW Group's new technology flagship combines locally emission-free driving pleasure, agile sportiness and convincing range with characteristics that are consistently oriented towards sustainability. With its groundbreaking design and interior entirely focused on luxurious spaciousness, the BMW iX embodies the new interpretation of the Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) vehicle concept. Designed from the outset for pure electric mobility, the model is also based on a new future-oriented modular system whose considerable potential for innovation in the areas of automated driving, operation, connectivity and digital services leads to an experience of premium mobility that is unique in the competitive environment. Two model variants are available for the market launch of the BMW iX. Both feature electric all-wheel drive, with system output of 385 kW/523 hp in the BMW iX xDrive50 and 240 kW/326 hp in the BMW iX xDrive40. The efficiency of their drive technology and the latest battery cell technology enable ranges of up to 630 kilometers in the BMW iX xDrive50 and up to 425 kilometers in the BMW iX xDrive40 as determined in the WLTP test cycle. At a later date, the model range will be supplemented by the BMW iX M60, which with a maximum output of more than 440 kW/600 hp ensures particularly sporty performance in all-electric driving.

Nissan is streamlining its LCV portfolio in Europe with these three models to help customers better navigate the sector with a product range that provides efficient mobility solutions with business customers at the core of the strategy. With the NV400 updated to Interstar, Nissan reiterates its presence in the large van segment. The NV300 with a sharper look and feel, will be reimagined as Primastar for a medium size option, and the compact van segment will be now covered by the all-new Townstar, with both fully electric and petrol variants. Leveraging the strength and scale of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance as part of the Nissan NEXT transformation plan, the refreshed all-star line-up brings competitive advantages that will enable the LCV business unit to strive towards its ambition of increasing its presence in the European market by 2025.
