Alfa Romeo has introduced the Giulia and Stelvio “ESTREMA” special series in Hinwil at the headquarters of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team. The first global special series, “ESTREMA” is equipped with a trim that puts it at the top of its range as it embodies the highest achievements in terms of technical and dynamic solutions, style, and sportiness. Its official debut took place at none other than the Alfa Romeo F1 Team’s Factory. Outside the limelight, Alfa Romeo and Sauber are carrying on with nonstop synergy which is founded on the exchange of their respective knowhow in an ongoing search for efficiency and state-of-the-art sustainable technology: the key territory for the new era of the brand.
2021 Toyota GR Supra 2.0 Design
The Toyota GR Supra has made a remarkable impact, affirming its status as a sports car in its purest form, designed and engineered for the joy of driving. As the first global model to be developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing, it has drawn on Toyota’s sports car heritage while exploring new horizons of handling and performance. Now the range is being extended in the UK for the first time with the established 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbocharged engine being joined by a new 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo unit. The new 2.0-litre engine widens GR Supra’s market appeal and, being lighter and more compact than the 3.0-litre unit, improves the car’s inertia characteristics and chassis balance for even sharper handling. Where weight is concerned, the GR Supra 2.0 weighs 100kg less than its 3.0-litre equivalent, a saving that further strengthens the car’s dynamic performance. The engine’s shorter length means its mass is located closer to the centre of the car, supporting an ideal front/rear balance and better inertia characteristics.
In recent years, the Toyota brand, thanks to its futuristic vision, has conquered a significant position in the A segment in Europe. ED, Toyota's European design studio based on the French Côte d'Azur not far from Nice, was commissioned to revisit the #citycar concept from a whole new perspective. The aim is to redefine the meaning of segment A for European customers in order to fully satisfy their needs and desires, demonstrating that the cars traditionally identified as "utilitarian" can be distinctive and characterized by a unique design.
Welcome to a new, even more digital and efficient world, and welcome home: the new C-Class stands for both, and in all respects creates a future-proof comfort zone in a time of worldwide transformation. As the first classic model series from Mercedes-Benz, the new C-Class is electrified throughout thanks to plug-in hybrids and mild hybrids with 48-volt technology and integrated starter-generator. Due to a high-efficiency battery system, it achieves an electric range of about 100 kilometres (WLTP) as a plug-in hybrid. That is unprecedented in this category to date. It also sets standards with respect to sustainability. And because the C-Class is one of the company's highest-volume model series, this systematic electrification has a correspondingly strong effect on our carbon footprint. Other technical refinements include optional features such as DIGITAL LIGHT and rear-axle steering. The Saloon and Estate models première together, can be ordered from 30 March and will arrive in dealer showrooms in summer 2021.
