The Lexus UX offers the brand’s renowned luxury and comfort in a package ideally suited to making urban exploring easier in cities around the globe. For 2021, the Lexus UX 200 adds Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) as standard all UX crossovers. On the way towards electrification, the designers took on the challenge of transferring the new spindle design to the RX. The integration of the radiator grille in the front end has been optimized. It conveys a feeling of electrified power and contributes to the low visual center of gravity. More compact and sharper headlights, air intakes and a wider track (+ 15 mm) also underline the sovereign and self-confident look. The longer bonnet, a 60 mm longer wheelbase and the 10 mm lower roof line all contribute to the striking look and a slimmer line overall. The characteristic black rear pillar - the so-called "floating roof" that gives the vehicle a coupe-like appearance - now appears more three-dimensional, while the characteristic rising lower side line and the large 21-inch wheels make the RX appear even more dynamic. The four-projector LED headlights are now slimmer and sharper and positioned more horizontally. Their design, accentuated by the L-shaped daytime running lights, ensures a powerful look. At the rear, the light bar, which extends the full width of the vehicle, emphasizes the iconic shape of the RX, while the wider track (+ 40 mm) reinforces its presence on the road. The new LEXUS lettering on the tailgate ensures a clear and modern appearance.
