Audi has unveiled the first member of a new family of concept vehicles, a spectacular roadster. Audi skysphere concept is the name of the electric-powered, two-door convertible whose lines lead directly to the Audi design of tomorrow. With it, the brand is illustrating its vision for the progressive luxury segment of the future, in which the interior becomes an interactive space and the vehicle a platform for captivating experiences. This is being made possible thanks to autonomous driving, a revolutionary redesign of the interior, and a seamless digital ecosystem. The Audi skysphere concept shows how the brand is redefining luxury in the future – it’s no longer just about driving. The concept car was designed with the clear objective of offering its occupants captivating and world-class experiences. To give passengers the maximum amount of freedom, the Audi skysphere concept was designed for two different driving experiences: a grand touring experience and a sports experience. This makes use of a spectacular technical detail – the variable wheelbase. Electric motors and a sophisticated mechanism with body and frame components that slide into one another make it possible to vary the wheelbase itself and the exterior length of the car by 250 millimeters. At the same time, the vehicle’s ground clearance is adjusted by 10 millimeters to enhance comfort and driving dynamics.
The new CUPRA Formentor VZ5 - The design
The designers of the new CUPRA Formentor VZ5 have done an impressive job of giving visual impact to its performance-oriented character. The dynamic proportions, which further emphasize the length of the hood by visually accentuating the rear, have been retained. A new feature is the hood specially developed for the CUPRA Formentor VZ5 with its sculptural lines that draw the viewer's eye to the black radiator grille. With its new, color-coordinated radiator frame in Sport Black Matt, it forms the ideal backdrop for the noble metallic CUPRA emblem. Below the headlights in typical CUPRA design are two air intakes that emphasize the more striking, even more determined face of the new CUPRA Formentor VZ5. The carbon-fiber front splitter on the side directs air into the intercoolers while improving downforce. The side view of the new performance CUV also impresses with its dynamism and the hint of the power that lies under its hood. Its increased track width is reflected in the flared wheel arches that house the exclusive 20-inch copper-look alloy wheels. The wheels were specially developed for the CUPRA Formentor VZ5 and are home to the lushly dimensioned and powerful braking system from Akebono.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is equipped with a V6 bi-turbo petrol engine: its 375 kW (510 hp) provides acceleration from a standing start to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 283 km/h. This agile handling is due to the active suspension with electronic shock absorber control (AlfaTM Active Suspension), the AlfaTM D.N.A. Pro Dynamic Driving Control system, enhanced by the "Race" performance mode, the Brembo® high-performance braking system, the AlfaTM Q4 electronically controlled four-wheel drive, the ideal weight distribution of almost 50/50 between front and rear axles and the extremely direct steering. Sports seats upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara® and an eight-speed automatic transmission that allows gear changes using paddles on the steering wheel further enhance the driving pleasure. Shortly after its premiere, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio set a lap record for production SUVs on the legendary Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. Highlights of the 2020 model year include advanced electronic driver assistance systems, which enable autonomous driving at level 2, and a newly developed infotainment system with an 8.8-inch (22.3-centimetre) display.
