In the summer of 1976, Volkswagen launched a distinctively sporty Golf onto the market: the GTI. At that time no one at Volkswagen had any idea that the Golf GTI would eventually become the world’s most successful compact sports car. But that is exactly what happened – from production of the 5,000 vehicles that were originally planned to well in excess of 2.3 million today. Now Volkswagen is marking the 45th birthday of this iconic car with an anniversary model: the Golf GTI Clubsport 45 – an exclusive edition of the 221 kW/300 PS Golf GTI Clubsport. 2020 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock Design
The Dodge Challenger is the world’s quickest, fastest and most powerful muscle car. While the record-setting Dodge Challenger SRT Demon was and will remain a one-year, limited-production build, the Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock is born from its successes and, for 2021 model year, is the halo of the Challenger lineup, out-performing the competition in the modern horsepower wars. The Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock is powered by the same supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® high-output V-8 that powers the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye with a revised powertrain calibration that increases rated power output to an 807 horsepower.
The new MX-30 introduces all-electric drive technology to the Mazda range. Called e-Skyactiv, the drive system's combination of electric motor and 35.5kWh lithium-ion battery equips the MX30 with a uniquely smooth, quiet and seamless all-electric driving experience and a range of 200km (WLTP combined), far exceeding the average daily drive of European customers. The MX-30's ' Human Modern' styling concept and Freestyle centre pillar-less doors break new ground for the beautiful, handcrafted forms of Kodo design. The interior features a floating centre console incorporating Mazda's first touch-screen air-conditioning control panel, and unique materials designed to minimize environmental impact - door trim using fibres made from recycled plastic bottles and cork harvested from the bark of trees without felling. Combined with the MX-30’s inherently smooth all-electric driving behaviour, the adoption of electric G-Vectoring Control Plus (e-GVC Plus) results in even greater refinement of the Mazda driving experience. The MX-30 features an enhanced suite of i-Activsense features. And despite adopting freestyle doors with no centre pillar, its bodyshell combines high strength - including a carefully designed structure to protect the high-voltage battery - with efficient energy absorption for excellent collision safety performance.
The “Chemical Recycling of Plastics in Automotive Engineering” pilot project targets the creation of smart circular systems for plastics and to establish this method as a complement to mechanical recycling and replacement of energetic recovery.
