The new Nissan Qashqai - The new infotainment system

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

The new Nissan Qashqai offers an advanced infotainment system with numerous connected features and services. These include hassle-free smartphone integration, a WiFi hotspot for up to seven devices, and NissanConnect Services, a dedicated app for controlling and monitoring the vehicle remotely. The NissanConnect system's central display, which is enlarged to nine inches, has a higher resolution and serves as a digital control center for navigation, entertainment and vehicle settings. Smartphones can be connected via Apple CarPlay® (wireless for the first time) and Android Auto®. Various user profiles can be created to store personal navigation, music and system settings. Whether the music comes from one of the DAB radio stations or via streaming from the connected smartphone, the best playback is guaranteed thanks to the Bose® premium sound system with ten speakers, while the Bose Acoustimass® bass box in the trunk ensures crisp and powerful sound - enjoyed by all occupants on board, not just the driver and front-seat passenger. The new high-resolution 12.3-inch TFT display offers various configurable layouts and shows information on navigation, entertainment, traffic or vehicle depending on the setting; it is operated via a new control on the steering wheel. A "Kiriko" texture integrated into the digital background, as if made of cut glass, refers to Nissan's Japanese DNA.
