ŠKODA ENYAQ iV - top in drag coefficient

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

The maximum range of the new ŠKODA ENYAQ iV is more than 520 kilometers. At the same time, the SUV benefits from outstanding aerodynamics in this vehicle class. Thanks to its streamlined body, the first purely battery-electric ŠKODA model based on the Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB) from the Volkswagen Group achieves an outstanding drag coefficient starting at cw 0.257. This top value is made possible not only by an aerodynamically optimized body in many areas, but also by clever details: special aero wheels, active air conduction management in the central front air intake and specially shaped exterior mirrors, which are not placed in the window triangle of the A-pillar, but on the front doors. The ŠKODA ENYAQ iV is the first production model from the Czech carmaker to be based on the Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB) from the Volkswagen Group. The purely battery-electric SUV rolls off the production line at ŠKODA's main plant in Mladá Boleslav, making it the only MEB model produced in Europe outside Germany. The body is designed to be as emotional as it is aerodynamic. Together with its efficient 150 kW electric motor, the ENYAQ iV 80 can travel more than 520 kilometers on a fully charged battery in the WLTP cycle.
