The Audi e-tron GT - Interior - sporty and luxuriously comfortable

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

A hallmark of sporty Audi models and especially the e-tron GT is the strong driver focus of the interior, which is inspired by the "monoposto" idea. The central dashboard is slightly tilted to the left, the strongly three-dimensionally shaped instrument panel appears light and slim. Its upper section is drawn away from the driver as a large, elegant arc. The display of the Audi virtual cockpit plus is free-standing in this space, while the MMI touch monitor is set into a black piano lacquer panel that appears to float above the instrument panel. In its right-hand section it bears a lasered and backlit "e-tron" badge if the ambient light package plus (standard in the RS model) is on board. A bold contour separates the upper section of the instrument panel from the lower one, which houses the control panel of the standard three-zone automatic climate control system. The flat side air vents have a decidedly technical look and emphasize the interior's broad appeal; aluminum clasps frame their ends. Under the windshield, a long arc extends from door to door. The design of the sporty front door panels visually flows in a straight line into the front fender edges. The driver and front passenger sit sportily low, separated from each other by a wide center console. The compact gear selector is located on the center tunnel console. Its slim design emphasizes the airy feeling of space and conveys a highly precise haptic operating experience. The rear seats also offer space for adults. The uncompromisingly high quality of the materials and their workmanship is testimony to the attention to detail with which Audi develops and builds cars.
