The NX 300’s raised driving position evokes a sporty driving experience with features to complement a busy lifestyle. This includes the Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 as standard equipment, Lexus Enform Wi-Fi (with 4GB of data complimentary for 3 months) and a power back door with kick sensor available as a standalone option. Additional options include: Intuitive Parking Assist, a system designed to notify the driver of the location of detected objects and proximity, helping with routine tasks like parallel parking. A driving experience that is never ordinary, the NX driver faces a sculpted metal-faced four-dial gauge cluster with 3D speedometer and tachometer displays. Gauges in the F SPORT feature full-length illuminated needles. A 4.2-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD in the center of the instrument cluster provides a full-color Multi Information Display (MID). A change in drive modes using the Drive Mode Select triggers a colored illumination in the MID – red for Sport mode, for example. The MID can also display phone and audio information.
SKODA ENYAQ iV Design Selection LOFT with explanations
With the new ENYAQ iV, ŠKODA AUTO is also launching a clear new product range structure and an innovative interior concept as it enters the era of electric mobility. The first ŠKODA model based on the Volkswagen Group’s modular electrification toolkit (MEB) offers customisable Design Selections for the interior. The optional Design Selections are oriented towards modern living environments and extend the existing equipment lines. The colours and materials are perfectly coordinated. In the following interview, Kateřina Vránová, Head of Colour & Trim Design at ŠKODA AUTO and her colleague Stefan Webelhorst, talk about the selection of materials, many of which are natural, sustainably processed or recycled, and demonstrate in a video how easy it is to configure the new ŠKODA ENYAQ iV in just six steps.
The international automotive media expressed excitement and glowing praise for its design, driving range and technological features. As the first model built on Hyundai’s new dedicated architecture for battery electric vehicles called Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), IONIQ 5 sets the benchmark to redefine electric mobility lifestyles with sustainable and innovative features – from the eco-friendly materials in its interior design, to ultra-fast charging and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capabilities. Following the car’s debut via a virtual world premiere last month, the company recorded 236,000 expressions of interest in Europe within three days, while the 3,000 units of the limited edition IONIQ 5 Project 45 were almost three times over-subscribed within 24 hours of reservations opening for European customers.
In recent years, the Toyota brand, thanks to its futuristic vision, has conquered a significant position in the A segment in Europe. ED, Toyota's European design studio based on the French Côte d'Azur not far from Nice, was commissioned to revisit the citycar concept from a whole new perspective. The aim is to redefine the meaning of segment A for European customers in order to fully satisfy their needs and desires, demonstrating that the cars traditionally identified as ""utilitarian"" can be distinctive and characterized by a unique design.
