IED presents the new concept vehicle designed in collaboration with Suzuki, to combine the two different souls of the Japanese manufacturer in a single model On the one hand, the four wheels, functionality, efficiency, practicality of compact dimensions; on the other, two wheels, synonymous with sporting spirit, high performance and emotions. For over a century, Suzuki has embodied these two opposing souls with the production of cars and motorcycles, but is it possible to combine these two worlds in one vehicle? The European Institute of Design presents Suzuki Misano, the new concept vehicle designed in collaboration with Suzuki. Result of the thesis project of the twenty-four students of the Master in Transportation Design of IED Turin, Misano is the answer to the Japanese manufacturer's question: a style model capable of intertwining the philosophy of Japanese automotive design with a design that embodies pure passion, style and fun, as in the best Italian tradition.
Audi e-tron GT experience - Interview Design - Parys Cybulski, Exterior Design
It is an Audi like there has never been one before: With the e-tron GT, the brand shows how emotionally and fascinatingly it will shape the future of mobility. The all-electric Gran Turismo will go on pre-sale in February 2021 simultaneously with two models, the e-tron GT quattro and the RS e-tron GT. Both are powerful, fast and dynamic, and both drive with zero local emissions. The sum of these qualities creates a strong character that reinterprets the gran turismo idea. The exterior of the Audi e-tron GT is a dynamic work of art. Every surface and every line is coherent in itself - from the headlights, optionally with Audi laser light, to the large diffuser at the rear. Together, the details create a sculpture that has been shaped by the wind itself. The interior, too, corresponds to that of a classic Gran Turismo: the driver and front passenger sit sportily low, separated from each other by a wide center console, and the rear seats also offer enough space for adults. With its progressive elegance, the interior design emphasizes the character of the car. A Gran Turismo is a sporty touring car with high driving dynamics, a confident glider. The Audi e-tron GT also has this character. Depending on the model, its electric motors deliver 350 kW (476 hp) or 440 kW (598 hp) of power. This allows dynamic spurts - but just as important is the range of up to 487 kilometers (according to WLTP) that the battery with its 85 kWh net capacity makes possible. Its 800-volt technology allows fast DC charging with up to 270 kW of power.
With its experience in the maxi scooter sector, Kymco reinvents one of its best sellers, not only in terms of performance, but also in substance; the new DTX disguises itself as an "Adventure Crossover", without abandoning its well-established characteristics of the Downtown range and becomes capable of offering even the most curious motorcyclist the opportunity to seek adventure in everyday life, without abandoning the comfort and safety of a commuter. Harmonious proportions, a sporty layout at the right point and a high front fender are just some of the features that allow the DTX360 to show its dual sport soul. The handlebar becomes wider to allow better control even on uneven pavement and the rider's seating position rises to improve visibility on the road. The instrumentation is digital and specially designed to provide maximum readability in all conditions, The Keyless system allows you to access the vehicle with extreme ease, while the TCS traction control system ensures maximum safety in every situation. The front headlights with LED tube lights and chrome / glossy black details, the rear light lenses in clear non-pigmented, the glossy black muffler protection inserts blend harmoniously with the distinctive graphics positioned on the matt anthracite rear fenders well integrated with the bodywork: in addition to the matt black odolo / anthracite color combination, sporty and with character, the new matt odolo black / orange color is also available, the perfect mix of grit and energy, capable of being recognized everywhere.
The smart assistant “Park Assist Plus” can search for a parking space after it has been activated in the parking menu (up to a speed of 40 km/h for suitable parallel parking spaces and up to 20 km/h for bay parking spaces) and complete the appropriate parking manoeuvre. If desired, the assistant can park autonomously with the help of the environment sensors, and take full control of the car, including steering, acceleration, braking and gear changes. For this, the driver stops at the selected parking space, applies the brake and activates the parking process via the start button in the parking menu. “Park Assist Plus”2 can also assist with parking manoeuvres that have already been started, by completing the process. It can also pull out of parallel parking spaces.
