The new Porsche 911 GT3 lapped the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in 6:59.927 minutes. Porsche lets the new 911 GT3 off the leash. The seventh edition of the high-performance sports car has also been developed in close collaboration with Porsche Motorsport. It transfers pure racing technology to a production model even more consistently than ever before: the double-wishbone front-axle layout and the sophisticated aerodynamics with gooseneck rear wing and striking diffuser originate from the successful 911 RSR GT race car, while the 375 kW (510 hp) four-liter six-cylinder boxer engine is based on the power unit of the 911 GT3 R, which has been tested in endurance races. The acoustically impressive high-revving power unit is also used virtually unchanged in the new 911 GT3 Cup. The result is a brilliant driving machine: efficient and emotional, precise and high-performance, perfect for the circuit and trouble-free in everyday driving.
