The new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet - The design

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

"The design of the 911 Turbo has become even more muscular. For the new chassis, the body has been widened by 45 millimeters above the front axle to 1,840 millimeters. The new front hood with a distinctive bead underscores the sportiness. LED main headlights with PDLS Plus illuminate the road as standard. At the rear axle, the body now measures exactly 1.90 meters in width (plus 20 millimeters). Another distinguishing feature of the new 911 Turbo is the further developed adaptive aerodynamics with controlled cooling air flaps at the front, a larger active front spoiler and a significantly larger variable rear spoiler. Process air is drawn in via the typical 911 Turbo air intakes in the rear side panels instead of cooling air as before. The intercoolers are now positioned directly in the air flow under the trunk lid. The continuous light strip with LED taillights and the new slatted trunk lid grille with silver trim round off the rear design. The appearance and performance can be further sharpened with the two new options Lightweight Package and Sport Package. The Lightweight Package for the Coupé reduces the vehicle weight by 30 kilograms. Among other things, this is made possible by lightweight full bucket seats, the elimination of the rear seats and reduced insulation. As a result, the engine sound reaches the driver's ears even more directly. The Sport package includes the 911 Turbo Sport Design package as well as further applications in black, carbon elements and Exclusive Design rear lights."
