2021 Mazda CX-5 - the engines

The responsiveness of the engines and the six-speed automatic Skyactiv-Drive has been further optimized, contributing to an even more direct driving experience and more driving pleasure. As a result of efficiency-enhancing engine measures and further reduced friction losses in i-Activ AWD all-wheel drive, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been reduced in all engine versions, in some cases significantly. In addition to the gasoline models, the diesel engines now also meet the currently strictest Euro 6d emissions standard - including the top diesel Skyactiv-D 184, which will be offered for the first time with front-wheel drive in addition to the all-wheel drive variant for model year 2021.
