The new Abarth 595 Range - Engines and Transmissions

The new Abarth 595 range is equipped with the 1.4 T-Jet engine that also powers the German and Italian Formula 4 race cars. The engine is available in three power levels: in the Abarth 595, the unit produces 107 kW (145 hp), while in the Turismo version it puts 121 kW (165 hp) on the road. The most powerful engine is reserved for the 595 Competizione and the 595 Esseesse variants. With 132 kW (180 hp), these vehicles are aimed specifically at those who seek the spirit of motorsport and therefore place particular emphasis on performance. Competizione and Esseesse are also equipped with the Garrett GT1446 turbocharger as standard. A mechanical, self-locking differential improves traction even in difficult grip conditions, such as uneven road surfaces. Koni FSD shock absorbers on both axles and Brembo brakes with fixed aluminum calipers are also part of the motorsport technology for the road.
