The all-new Note Aura comes exclusively with Nissan’s e-POWER electrified powertrain, a key part of the company’s electrification strategy under the Nissan NEXT global business transformation plan. The all-new vehicle inherits the comfort and advanced safety technologies of the Note e-POWER launched last year, with added premium furnishings and system enhancements. With a simple, beautiful design that goes beyond the compact-car norm, the Note Aura aims to exceed the expectations of all occupants. The exterior features an elaborately sculpted front grille, and an elongated, curved roofline. The rear fenders and new rear bumper convey a wide stance and low center of gravity, giving the vehicle a robust presence. The LED combination lamps that illuminate as a beam of light across the rear of the vehicle create an advanced and individualistic impression.
Snow clearing on Timmelsjoch with Unimog Trailer
When the snowstorm is so bad that you don't want to put your nose outside - then it's Unimog weather. Equipped with a snowplough and a gritter, it's in its element and it clears snow from roads and access routes – just like here in Rottach-Egern on the Tegernsee. That is where Tobias Maurer is deputy manager of the works depot, and he swears by his U 427 – even in difficult conditions: ""The roadways here have gradients of up to 85 percent. But those are the conditions where the Unimog really feels at home."" The municipal works depot of Rottach-Egern operates not only on flat roads and paths around the lake, but also on the access routes to the ski lifts of the nearby Wallberg mountain. Equipped with snow chains, nothing can stop the forward thrust of the Unimog and it clears snow at a height of 1000 metres. And when the winter is over, the work for the Unimog carries on. It transports gravel to forest tracks, tows a trailer with a building machine to a construction site, or it helps with road construction – just as a true ""universal motor machine"" should.
Opel has revealed the all-new, sixth generation of the Astra. The success story of Opel's bestseller began 30 years ago with the descendant of the legendary Kadett. With the all-new Astra, the German manufacturer is now opening the next chapter: for the first time, the compact class model is available with electric drive. Opel will offer the new Astra in two performance levels as a plug-in hybrid. In addition, there are versions with highly efficient petrol and diesel engines in combination with friction-optimised six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmissions. The new Opel Astra is also a design statement for the brand. Dynamic as never before, with sheer, taut surfaces, detoxed of superfluous elements and with the new brand face – the Opel Vizor. With the next compact class generation, Opel shows that the Astra is ready to define a new era. The new Opel Astra will launch this year as a sporty five-door with a low-slung look and yet more space than its predecessor. With a length of 4,374 millimetres and width of 1,860 mm, it hits the sweet-spot of the compact sector. Thanks to the especially short front overhang, the new Astra is only 4.0 mm longer than the previous model, despite the considerably increased wheelbase of 2,675 mm (+13 mm). Notwithstanding the muscular, confident stance, the new Astra’s practical boot with adjustable floor still offers the driver and four passengers 422 litres of luggage volume.
