In search of the Christmas dessert - Pandoro - interview with Giancarlo Perbellini
There are many Christmas desserts of our tradition, but those that undoubtedly cannot be missing on Italian tables are the leavened Pan de Oro and Pan de Toni, the original names of Pandoro and Panettone, the first born in Verona and the second in Milan. Starting from Milan, in a riot of lights, Christmas decorations and glittering streets, MINI Countryman arrived in Verona, after traveling 157 km, to discover the prince of Christmas sweets: Pandoro. Pandoro established itself at the end of the nineteenth century thanks to the genius of a great pastry chef who had just returned from Vienna at that time: Giovanni Battista Perbellini. The MINI Countryman's first destination was therefore the “X Dolce Locanda” pastry shop, by starred chef Giancarlo Perbellini, in Verona
Experience all-electric performance with the Toyota bZ4X. The SUV is particularly responsive and offers you dynamics right from the start, just as you would want from a vehicle. For a truly seamless driving experience, the Toyota bZ4X also offers the option of "single pedal drive" with enhanced brake energy regeneration, where you can accelerate and decelerate using only the accelerator pedal. For perfect traction, various driving modes can also be selected via the X-Mode all-wheel management. With its all-wheel drive capabilities, it masters any terrain.
Welcome to a new, even more digital and efficient world, and welcome home: the new C-Class stands for both, and in all respects creates a future-proof comfort zone in a time of worldwide transformation. As the first classic model series from Mercedes-Benz, the new C-Class is electrified throughout thanks to plug-in hybrids and mild hybrids with 48-volt technology and integrated starter-generator. Due to a high-efficiency battery system, it achieves an electric range of about 100 kilometres (WLTP) as a plug-in hybrid. That is unprecedented in this category to date. It also sets standards with respect to sustainability. And because the C-Class is one of the company's highest-volume model series, this systematic electrification has a correspondingly strong effect on our carbon footprint. Other technical refinements include optional features such as DIGITAL LIGHT and rear-axle steering. The Saloon and Estate models première together, can be ordered from 30 March and will arrive in dealer showrooms in summer 2021.
