There are many Christmas desserts of our tradition, but those that undoubtedly cannot be missing on Italian tables are the leavened Pan de Oro and Pan de Toni, the original names of Pandoro and Panettone, the first born in Verona and the second in Milan. Starting from Milan, in a riot of lights, Christmas decorations and glittering streets, MINI Countryman arrived in Verona, after traveling 157 km, to discover the prince of Christmas sweets: Pandoro. Pandoro established itself at the end of the nineteenth century thanks to the genius of a great pastry chef who had just returned from Vienna at that time: Giovanni Battista Perbellini. The MINI Countryman's first destination was therefore the “X Dolce Locanda” pastry shop, by starred chef Giancarlo Perbellini, in Verona
