The new Lexus UX 300e - Lexus Electrified

Electrification has a long tradition at Lexus: the world's first full hybrid premium SUV, the Lexus RX 400h, was launched back in 2005. This was followed in 2008 by the first V8 hybrid as a new flagship, and in 2011 by the Lexus CT 200h, the first compact car. In the meantime, the Lexus Hybrid Drive is available in all model series - from the large flagship sedan LS with the Multistage Hybrid Drive to compact models such as the crossover UX, where just like in the Lexus ES 300h, the fourth generation of the self-charging hybrid drive is already in use. The new "Lexus Electrified" vision, unveiled with the Lexus LF-30 Electrified Concept at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, goes one step further in terms of driving performance, handling, ease of use and driving pleasure - also in light of the fact that mobility in society is being transformed by automated driving and electrification.
