Fine-tuning for the Subaru Impreza (fuel consumption combined: 6.6-6.3 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 151-143 g/km; values were determined according to the WLTP test procedure and correlated into NEDC values): After the compact car received, among other things, the mild hybrid e-Boxer system and expanded equipment in the middle of the year, new colors and adaptive transmission control for even more driving pleasure will follow for the 2021 model year. Those who opt for the e-Boxer already benefit from better acceleration and a more direct response thanks to the electric assistance of the 110 kW/150 hp 2.0-liter Boxer engine. Driving dynamics can be improved even further with the standard SI-Drive, which specifically adjusts the engine characteristics: In S mode, the system now features adaptive transmission control. In S mode, the system now has an adaptive transmission control system. In sporty cornering, this not only ensures better engine braking torque when starting or braking, but also maintains the engine speed and optimizes acceleration on exiting the bend. The improved engine braking torque is also noticeable when driving downhill.
