Air conditioning, light and rain sensors, power-adjustable, folding and heated exterior mirrors, power windows in both rows of seats, a multifunction steering wheel and cruise control are also always on board. Higher trim levels add parking aids, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, a smart audio system with eight-inch touchscreen and smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and other safety systems such as cross-traffic alert, blind spot and lane change assist. LED headlights and fog lights complement the standard LED daytime running lights, giving the Korando a distinctive appearance even at night.
Much of Spain has been collapsed by the snowfalls caused by the storm Filomena, but weather conditions similar to those we are experiencing these days are normal in other countries in Northern Europe. In them, drivers continue to circulate with their vehicles thanks to winter tires, so we wanted to discover some of their characteristics that allow them to have grip even in the most extreme conditions. There is a tendency to think that winter tires are specifically designed for driving in extreme snow conditions, however, they really are tires for driving in cold conditions. Its performance is better than that of summer tires on any surface with temperatures below 7ºC, temperatures that we easily find in peninsular winters.
The New Range Rover can trace its origins back through the generations; the falling roofline, strong waistline – with its horizontal emphasis – and lower rising sill. The characteristically short front overhang, formal front end, upright windscreen and distinctive boat tail rear, which tapers in plain view, are key elements in defining Range Rover’s proportions and conveying its peerless presence. Flush elements and tight tolerances are a hallmark of the New Range Rover and design-enabling technologies contribute to its sophisticated honed-from-solid appearance, include flush glazing, a hidden waist rail finisher and seamless laser-welded roof joints. The distinctive hidden-until-lit rear lights are also critical to the success of the design and will become a Range Rover signature.
