The CUPRA Formentor is about to take to the streets of the world. But some have already had the privilege of driving it including the CUPRA development team led by SEAT executive Vice-president for R&D Dr. Werner Tietz, along with CUPRA Technical Officer Marta Almuni and CUPRA driver Jordi Gené. The following are their impressions at the wheel of the brand’s first uniquely designed and developed model.
Revised Hyundai i30 starts at 18,990 euros
"The facelift of the Hyundai i30 will be launched in Germany in summer 2020 and will be available from 18,990 euros. Since its market launch in 2007, the Hyundai i30 has had more than 310,000 new registrations to date the most successful and best-selling Hyundai models in Germany. With the revised Hyundai i30 five-door and the i30 station wagon, the customer can choose between the five equipment lines Pure, Select, Trend, Prime and N Line as well as five engines: a 1.5-liter petrol engine, a 1.0-liter turbo gasoline engine with 48V hybrid system, a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine with 48V hybrid system and a 1.6-liter diesel engine in two power levels, the more powerful of these also with 48V hybrid system. The equipment variants Prime and N are available for the i30 Fastback Line as well as a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine or a 1.6-liter diesel engine, each with a 48V hybrid system, except for the 1.5-liter gasoline engine or similar Without turbocharging, in addition to a manual six-speed gearbox, a seven-speed dual clutch transmission (7DCT) is available for all engines for 1,900 euros. "
With the new ENYAQ iV, ŠKODA AUTO is also launching a clear new product range structure and an innovative interior concept as it enters the era of electric mobility. The first ŠKODA model based on the Volkswagen Group’s modular electrification toolkit (MEB) offers customisable Design Selections for the interior. The optional Design Selections are oriented towards modern living environments and extend the existing equipment lines. The colours and materials are perfectly coordinated.
