This is the world's first 3D printed powerboat. Boasting a sleek, shiny coat of paint in ‘snapper rocks blue’, MAMBO spans 6.5 meters long by 2.5 meters wide. With a dry weight of approximately 800kg, the boat is equipped with a navigation system, cork flooring, white leather seats, and 115 cv engine. The vessel was built by Italy’s Moi Composites Srl. who say their uniquely-shaped boat cannot be achieved with traditional manufacturing. Instead, it was built using Moi's Continuous Fiber Manufacturing process which uses a computer and 3D printer to simultaneously build and shape the boat by adding individual layers of composite materials that are then cured by laser. The boat was unveiled at this year's Genoa International Boat Show.
