Zipper Boat Makes Waves At Tokyo Art Exhibition

This quirky zipper-shaped boat looks like it's unfastening a river. The work, "Zip-Fastener Ship”, is the creation of artist Yasuhiro Suzuki. It was exhibited in the recent 2020 Sumida river Sumi-Yume Art Project, where it sailed along the waterway which flows through Tokyo, Japan. The work was inspired by the artist looking down on Tokyo Bay from an airplane window and seeing a ship's wake seeming to open the water like a zip.

Poland’s Sunreef Yachts’ state-of-art solar power system covers up to 68,6m² of surface on board. Solar panels are fully-integrated with hull sides, superstructure and curved areas all over. Sunreef say the vessel offers endless layout options and "an infinite choice of decors".
