The compact sports sedan Jaguar XE will start with a mild hybrid drive and a new infotainment system
The compact sports sedan Jaguar XE will start with a new, electrified mild hybrid drive variant and the new, particularly well-networked infotainment system Pivi / Pivi Pro in model year 2021. Available for the first time in the Jaguar XE is the efficiency-enhancing combination of the next generation of the two-liter, four-cylinder turbo diesel from the Ingenium family with the latest mild hybrid technology (MHEV). Inside, the state-of-the-art Pivi Pro dual-SIM infotainment system ensures that the XE and its occupants are always connected to the outside world. The new user interface in the style of a smartphone makes it easier for drivers to call up information and carry out regular operating steps and entries while driving. Subtle improvements to the interior include other luxurious details; including an upgraded seat design and a new two-tone steering wheel with metallic shift paddles. The Jaguar XE MY 21 can be ordered immediately and will be available on the market at prices starting at 43,378.15 euros (including 16% VAT). The market launch is early 2021
Volvo Cars is introducing a range of updates to its entire car line-up, the most prominent of which is an exterior refresh of its fully electric XC40 Recharge. The company also unveils a single electric motor variant of the pure electric C40 Recharge. The new C40 and XC40 variants, along with all other new Volvo Cars’ models, will be available through an updated offer concept, designed to make the online ordering process of Volvo cars easier and more convenient. Volvo customers will now be able to choose between different equipment levels and select the options that best suit their personal needs. The new offer structure reflects Volvo Cars’ ambitions to increase price transparency, as well as reduce complexity in its model offering by focusing on attractive pre-selected variants.
Perfectly networked, always online, seamlessly integrated and always ready for typical MINI driving pleasure. This is how urban premium mobility presents itself in the digital age. Alongside the fresh, strikingly purist design and new equipment features, the extensively enhanced operating system with its additional digital services is a major highlight of the new editions of the MINI 3-door, MINI 5-door and MINI Convertible. Now more than ever, the unmistakable MINI feeling can be seamlessly integrated into the digital lifestyle. The refined premium ambience in the interior of the MINI 3-door, MINI 5-door and MIN Convertible also includes a redesigned centre instrument. An 8.8-inch touch display in black panel design is now standard. The control units for the audio system and the touch-sensitive favourite buttons are integrated flush into the high-quality Piano Black high-gloss surface. The light signal of the LED decor ring surrounding the centre instrument can correspond to the operation of the air conditioning, among other things. If the heat output is increased, the display moves to the red area; if the desired temperature is reduced, the display again moves to the blue area. In conjunction with the Ambient Light option, the LED decor ring features a distinctive laser engraving.
