The Toyota Hilux - The interior design
Inside, the newly designed instrument cluster and the new, 8-inch infotainment display provide the driver with all the important information; mechanical buttons and controls ensure optimal operation under all driving conditions. The multimedia system has also been improved, which now reacts even faster to inputs and allows the smartphone to be integrated via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The long list of equipment includes a keyless entry and start system, a navigation system, automatic air conditioning, parking sensors at the front and rear as well as a JBL Premium Sound System with nine speakers, eight-channel amplifier with 800 watts and CLARi-fi technology. Whether for work or leisure: Thanks to a large number of other equipment features, the Hilux is up to any challenge. The options include a sports bar made of synthetic resin with an electrically operated load compartment cover made of aluminum, a lockable loading flap, a hard top and a 12-volt socket for the loading area
The technological progress in the area of aerodynamics is particularly apparent. It is the first time that a suspended rear wing has been fitted on a Porsche series production car. Its swan-neck mounting is used in a similar form in the GT racing car 911 RSR and the one-make cup racing car 911 GT3 Cup. Since two aluminium brackets now hold the wing element from above, the airflow can pass undisturbed across the underside, which is aerodynamically more sensitive. This new design led to a reduction in the flow losses and not only increased the downforce, but also resulted in well-balanced negative lift conditions together with many other detailed measures. “We developed the aerodynamics of the new 911 GT3 in around 700 simulations. We spent more than 160 hours fine-tuning the car in the wind tunnel,” explains aerodynamics engineer Mathias Roll.
After the market launch of the compact sedan of the PEUGEOT 308 at the beginning of the year, the focus is now on the station wagon variant PEUGEOT 308 SW, which will be launched in June 2022. The new PEUGEOT 308 has a characterful design and bears the brand's new coat of arms. The new PEUGEOT 308 SW offers modern driver assistance systems such as the blind spot assistant with a range of 75 meters or the parking aid with a 360° view of the surroundings. The new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® features i-Connect® Advanced, an infotainment system that is intuitive, connected and modern. True to the ""Power of Choice"" strategy, the PEUGEOT 308 is available as a compact sedan and as an estate variant with various combustion (diesel and petrol) and hybrid engines. As a plug-in hybrid, the PEUGEOT 308 and the PEUGEOT 308 SW offer the same spaciousness as the combustion engine variants.
