The ŠKODA KUSHAQ combines distinctive looks and the brand’s signature spaciousness with midsize dimensions. The name of the ŠKODA KUSHAQ follows the nomenclature established for the successful ŠKODA SUV family, starting with a K and ending with a Q. It is derived from the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit, where the word “kushak” denotes a king or emperor. The KUSHAQ is the first model to be launched as part of the INDIA 2.0 product campaign, which will comprise a total of four vehicles from ŠKODA and Volkswagen. These will be produced locally in India and are based on the MQB-A0-IN version of the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Transverse Toolkit, which has been specifically adapted by ŠKODA AUTO for the Indian market.
2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Interior Design
2021 Santa Fe now offers three new and improved powertrain options. The standard powertrain is a Smartstream 2.5-liter direct-injected (DI) and multi-point injected (MPI) four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, replacing the former 2.4-liter engine. This standard four-cylinder engine produces an estimated 191 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and an estimated 182 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm for effortless driving in a wide variety of conditions. The powertrain also features Idle, Stop and Go (ISG) capability to maximize efficiency in various heavy traffic conditions. The new 2.5-liter engine fuel economy is targeted to increase approximately eight percent over the 2020 powertrain from these improvements.
As part of its European market LCV strategy, Nissan today unveiled the all-new Nissan Townstar range of compact light commercial vehicles. The Townstar will replace the NV250 and e-NV200 in the line-up. Additionally, the Interstar and Primastar (previously NV400 and NV300, respectively), fill out the streamlined LCV model offerings. With a 44 kWh battery featuring an intelligent energy management system and battery thermal cooling, the electric model will offer a range of 285 km (pending homologation under WLTP combine cycle) and 245 Nm of torque. Coupled with advanced technologies and low running costs, the fully electric model offers an efficient, sustainable mobility solution. A refined gasoline engine option will be also available in van and passenger versions. The 1.3-liter unit is fully compliant with the latest Euro 6d-Full emissions regulations and produces 130 PS and 240 Nm of torque, offering power and efficiency in equal measure. As an important vehicle in Nissan’s LCV line-up in the European market, the Townstar is the latest to be introduced under the Nissan NEXT transformation plan, which prioritizes sustainable growth and profitability across the company’s global operations. Launch timing of the all-new Townstar (both gasoline and EV versions) to be disclosed at a later date.
