Hyundai Motor Company today launches the new Elantra N Line. The new model is designed and engineered to deliver more enhanced driving fun to the bold new Elantra that launched in April. The N Line model, characterized by N specific design and performance-enhancing elements, offers an attractive entry point to the Hyundai’s high-performance N Brand lineup and will expand Elantra’s appeal to a broader range of customers. Elantra N Line delivers a spirited driving experience, powered by a 1.6-liter GDI turbocharged engine with six-speed manual or seven-speed Double Clutch Transmission (DCT) that produces up to 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft torque. Hyundai engineers implemented several mechanical improvements to Elantra’s suspension to increase stiffness for a gripping performance, aided by 18-inch alloy wheels, multi-link independent rear suspension and larger front brake rotors.

When developing the new Mirai, Toyota optimized every aspect of the vehicle so that it appeals to customers emotionally - in terms of power delivery and performance as well as the way the car drives and looks. The declared goal was to increase the range compared to the first generation to a level that exceeds most purely battery-electric cars. To achieve this, the engine output and the capacity of the hydrogen tanks increased, as did aerodynamic efficiency. The result: a 30 percent larger radius of action that now reaches a good 650 kilometers. This means that the Mirai is now finally moving up into the long-haul vehicle class. Toyota has devoted itself equally intensively to the room layout. The modular GA-L platform, which serves as the basis for the new Mirai, enables considerably more effective packaging. In favor of a more balanced arrangement of the new FCEV drive train, the fuel cell unit has now moved under the hood. In this way, it clears the way for a larger interior space that can now accommodate five passengers.

With the Concept CE 02, BMW Motorrad is presenting a new interpretation of smart, urban single-track mobility one week before the IAA Mobility 2021. The electric vehicle concept, which is neither a classic motorcycle nor a scooter, is an exciting and highly emotional mobility offer. With its compact dimensions and youthful proportions, it also clearly appeals to a new target group: people aged 16 and over, who have not ridden a motorbike before but are open to new experiences, smart technology and, above all, combining mobility with fun. As a lightweight e-vehicle weighing about 120 kg, the BMW Motorrad Concept CE 02 is ideal for urban use, offering a high fun factor as well as straightforward yet stylish commuting. The 11 kW of output and all the torque available from standstill allow for fast acceleration at traffic lights. A top speed of 90 km/h and a range of 90 km make it easy to get from A to B – and back again – even in heavy city traffic.
