The heart of the Audi e-tron FE07 is the new motor-generator unit MGU05, which was first developed at Audi Sport. The innovative unit, which weighs less than 35 kilograms, has an efficiency of well over 97 percent in all driving-related areas and will power Audi drivers Lucas di Grassi and René Rast in the seventh Formula E season, the first as the official FIA World Championship.
