Three sound systems are available to choose from in the new S-Class The two Burmester® systems offer a multidimensional spatial sound in the car. The 3D-surround sound is generated using special Burmester® algorithms and two loudspeakers integrated into the headliner. The active control of each loudspeaker with digital technologies results in an unusually expressive, natural sound. The Burmester® high-end 4D-Surround sound system adds another layer to the three-dimensional listening experience - 4D-Sound. With the help of exciters, structure-borne sound is transmitted in the seats. In combination with the two Burmester® sound systems, the S-Class features in-car communication. This comfort function supports the communication of the passengers during the ride.
