Porsche Taycan 4S - third version of the electric sports car

"After Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo, the Taycan 4S is the new entry into the electric model range. A single-deck performance battery with a gross capacity of 79.2 kWh is installed as standard. On request the two-story Performance Battery Plus known from Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo is available. Its gross capacity is 93.4 kWh. Accordingly, performance and range vary: With the Performance Battery the Taycan 4S achieves up to 390 kW (530 PS) overboost power. Equipped with the Performance Battery Plus, it delivers up to 420 kW (571 PS). Both versions of the Taycan 4S accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds. The top speed is also a uniform 250 km/h. The range is up to 407 kilometers with Performance Battery and up to 463 kilometers with Performance Battery Plus (both according to WLTP). The maximum charging capacity (peak) is 225 kW (Performance battery) or 270 kW (Performance battery Plus). Breathtaking acceleration values, typical sports car pulling power and superior, permanently available performance - these are the strengths of the Taycan that the new 4S also possesses. With an active length of 130 millimeters, the permanently excited synchronous machine on the rear axle is exactly 80 millimeters shorter than the corresponding drive components of the Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo. With two permanently excited synchronous machines on the front and rear axles, i.e. all-wheel drive, and a two-speed transmission on the rear axle, the 4S has the drive architecture of the most important technical highlights of its model brothers. The same also applies to the intelligent load management and the exemplary aerodynamics. With a cw value starting at 0.22, it makes a decisive contribution to low energy consumption and thus a long range".
