"To really understand the soul of a car, you have to drive it yourself. You have to familiarize yourself with the interior, adjust the driver's seat, grab the steering wheel and take a tour. This is exactly what Olivier François, President of Fiat Brand Global, is doing with the new Fiat 500, the brand's first all-electric vehicle. Production of the third-generation Fiat 500 now opens a new chapter at Mirafiori, where a production line has been completely rebuilt. Around 1,200 people will work in the production of the new Fiat 500. Capacity is 80,000 units per year, but can be further increased if necessary. Fiat has invested a total of over 700 million euros in the new electric vehicle, including the costs of designing, developing and building the production line. Like its 1957 predecessor, the new Fiat 500 is unreservedly "Made in Turin" and "Made at Fiat"".
