Ford announced that, for the first time in Europe, orders are open for the Ford Mustang Mach-EGT, the most exciting version of the company's new all-electric SUV. The propulsion has more torque than any other road vehicle ever produced by Ford for European customers and the Mustang Mach-EGT is the Blue Oval's five-seater car with the highest acceleration: it is capable of shifting 0 to 100km / h (0-62mph) in just 3.7 seconds1. The dual-engine all-wheel drive with electric power, the futuristic MagneRide®2 adaptive suspension and the high-performance Brembo braking system allow you to combine sports car response with extreme agility. The Mustang MachEGT also boasts a unique traction calibration which, compared to the other four-wheel drive variants of the model, engages a greater percentage of torque at the rear axle.
New Bentley Bentayga inspires Art in Motion Digital Experience
In association with Secret Walls Studio in Downtown Los Angeles, Bentley Motors is proud to present ‘Art in Motion’ – a virtual event and film series that celebrates the power of inspiration as told through the attributes and focused design language of the New Bentayga - the definitive luxury SUV. Three prolific young artists, ‘It’s A Living,’ Mikael B and Laci Jordan, each document their journey from influence to the realization of their vision, in the form of an original work inspired by the New Bentayga. Each unique piece will be auctioned in December to raise funds for Inner-City Arts, empowering featured artists to leave their own legacy for the next generation of creators.
Bentley Motors today releases details of the new Continental GT Speed – the most dynamic road car in Bentley’s 101 year history and ultimate performance-focused interpretation of the world’s benchmark luxury Grand Tourer. Designed, engineered, developed and handcrafted in Bentley’s carbon neutral luxury automotive factory, this new third-generation model builds on a long tradition of Speed variants. Originally introduced with the highly-acclaimed, first generation Continental GT Speed in 2007 – itself inspired by the 3-Litre Speed models of the 1920s. The latest GT Speed continues the bloodline by representing the ultimate combination of luxury and performance in a Grand Touring package.
With the new Panamera 4S E-Hybrid, Porsche is presenting another performance-oriented plug-in hybrid model. The intelligent interaction of the 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor integrated into the eight-speed PDK dual clutch transmission and the 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine with 324 kW (440 hp) results in a system output of 412 kW and maximum system torque of 750 Nm. The driving performance is correspondingly impressive: in combination with the standard Sport Chrono Package, the sprint from zero to 100 km / h takes 3.7 seconds. The top speed is reached at 298 km / h. The gross capacity of the battery has been increased from 14.1 to 17.9 kWh by means of optimized cells compared to the previous hybrid models and the driving modes have been optimized with a view to even more effective energy use. The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid has a purely electric range according to WLTP EAER City of up to 54 km.
