ŠKODA POPULAR SPORT (1936)
The ŠKODA POPULAR SPORT was fitted with the modified chassis of the lighter POPULAR series, but the engine came from the more powerful RAPID.
The design of the 911 Turbo has become even more muscular. For the new chassis, the body above the front axle has been widened by 45 millimeters to 1,840 millimeters. The new hood with its distinctive beading underlines the sporty look. LED main headlights with PDLS Plus light up the road ahead as standard. At the rear axle, the body now measures exactly 1.90 meters in width (plus 20 millimeters). A further distinguishing feature of the new 911 Turbo is the enhanced adaptive aerodynamics with controlled cooling air flaps in the front, a larger active front spoiler and a significantly larger variable rear spoiler. Process air instead of cooling air is drawn in via the typical 911 Turbo air intakes in the rear side panels. The intercoolers are now located directly in the air flow under the rear lid. The continuous light strip with LED tail lights and the new louvered tailgate grille with silver trim round off the rear design. The two new options Lightweight Package and Sport Package further enhance appearance and performance. The lightweight package for the Coupé reduces the vehicle weight by 30 kilograms. This is made possible by lightweight full-body seats, the elimination of rear seats and reduced insulation, among other things. As a result, the engine sound reaches the driver's ear even more directly. The Sport package includes the 911 Turbo Sport Design package and other applications in black, carbon-fiber elements and exclusive design combination rear lamps.

Nissan revealed its exciting new Nissan Ariya Single Seater Concept – a high-performance exploration, development and demonstration project of how the all-electric Nissan Ariya road car powertrain could be used in a bespoke single seater racing car chassis. The concept was presented at the Nissan Futures event by Alfonso Albaisa, Nissan senior vice president for global design, and Juan Manuel Hoyos, Nissan global marketing divisional general manager for brand and engagement. Design cues from the all-new Nissan Ariya all-electric SUV can be seen across the Ariya Single Seater Concept. At the front of the vehicle is the electrified and illuminated ""V"" motion, familiar from Nissan's current road car design language. At the side view, inspiration has been taken from the Ariya's fluid and efficient surfaces, exaggerated to a maximum in carbon fiber. Overall, the Nissan Ariya Single Seater Concept describes a form that, as with the Ariya, looks like it was shaped by the air itself. Nissan's participation in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship also played a key role in inspiring the Nissan Ariya Single Seater Concept. Nissan races in the all-electric world championship to bring the excitement and fun of zero-emission electric vehicles to a global audience, and to be at the cutting edge of EV research and design.
Maro Engel made full use of all the possibilities offered by the new Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series as standard: such as the most powerful AMG V8 series engine ever with 537 kW (730 hp), the sophisticated aerodynamics and extensive suspension adjustment options. For example, the front splitter made of visible carbon fibre was extended to the “Race” position, and the lower and upper wing blades of the rear spoiler were each adjusted in the middle position. The adjustable AMG coilover suspension with adaptive adjustment damping was lowered by five millimetres at the front and three millimetres at the rear to further enhance the venturi effect of the front diffuser. The camber was adjusted to the maximum possible values of negative 3.8 degrees at the front axle and negative 3.0 degrees at the rear. In the case of the adjustable anti-roll bars, racing professional Engel opted for the hardest of the three possible settings, and the 35-year-old adjusted the nine-stage AMG traction control between positions six and seven -depending on the section of the track. AMG GT Black Series customers can also take advantage of all these settings and variations.
