The Land Rover Discovery Sport - the digital experience

The 2021 Discovery Sport reaches a new dimension in terms of the digital experience. This is because the range now includes the state-of-the-art Pivi Infotainment System, which was first seen in the new Land Rover Defender. Pivi is ready for use right from the start - its own battery and separate data plan ensure delay-free operation; booting the system is virtually eliminated. The integrated data connection enables free software updates "Over-The-Air" at any time, with the updates being launched at the appropriate time as required. In this way, Discovery Sport users always have access to the most current data for maps, apps or vehicle systems - without having to visit the workshop. The backbone of the infotainment system is a new, high-performance electronic vehicle architecture. In the Discovery Sport, infotainment is available either as a Pivi version or - starting with the Discovery Sport S - as an even more comprehensive Pivi Pro.
