The Active Blind Spot Assist can warn visually and, when the indicators are actuated, also acoustically of side collisions in the speed range from approx. 10 to 200 km/h. If the driver ignores the warnings and still initiates a lane change, the system can intervene at the last moment to correct lane at speeds above 30 km/h by braking on one side. In addition, the exit warning function can signal that a vehicle (including bicycles) is passing in the critical area when the vehicle is at a standstill before exiting. This function is available at standstill and up to 3 minutes after the ignition is switched off. New are: -the addition of the Danger Indicator using Active Ambient Light (also for the exit warning) -thanks to the cameras of the MBUX Interior Assistant, a danger indication can even be given when the driver or passenger only moves their hand towards the door handle.

The ID.4’s exterior has athletic proportions for an ultra-modern appearance. Its clear, flowing design is inspired by nature and guarantees very good aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0.28.Its basic version already features headlights that are almost completely equipped with light-emitting diodes while its tail light clusters have been fully equipped with this technology. As the top-of-the-range version, interactive IQ.Light LED matrix headlights are even more progressive: they welcome drivers with swivelling lens modules and generate an intelligently controlled main beam. These headlights have been paired with the new 3D LED tail light clusters. Their tail light is particularly homogeneous and lights up in an intensive red. The large wheels with a diameter of up to 21 inches underline the vehicle’s character.
The turbocharged three-litre flat-six in the new 911 GTS delivers 353 kW (480 PS). Maximum torque is 570 Nm, an increase of 20 Nm over its predecessor. Zero to 100 km/h takes just 3.3 seconds (911 Carrera 4 GTS: Fuel consumption combined (NEDC) 10.5 – 9.7 l/100 km, Fuel consumption combined (WLTP) 11.4 – 10.6 l/100 km, CO₂ emissions combined (NEDC) 240 – 222 g/km, CO₂ emissions combined (WLTP) 259 – 240 g/km) in the 911 Carrera 4 GTS Coupé with the eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK): three tenths faster than its predecessor. A seven-speed manual transmission with a particularly short throw is available for all 911 GTS models as an alternative to the PDK.
