New top diesel for the ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS- 2.0 TDI EVO delivers 147 kW (200 PS) and 400 Nm

With the 2.0 TDI EVO, the new OCTAVIA RS is also available with four-wheel drive for the first time. The control electronics of the optional 4×4 drive system react within fractions of a second to changing driving conditions and support the driving dynamics, for example when cornering fast. If the wheel on the inside of the bend is relieved, the system transmits part of the drive torque to the opposite wheel, thereby maintaining traction. In combination with the 147 kW (200 hp) top diesel engine including all-wheel drive, the OCTAVIA RS and OCTAVIA COMBI RS accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, with a maximum torque of 400 Nm. The limousine reaches its top speed at 243 km/h, the estate can reach up to 238 km/h. In conjunction with front-wheel drive, the figures are 249 km/h and 245 km/h respectively. The OCTAVIA RS's dynamic driving experience and agile handling are enhanced by the sports suspension, which is lowered by 15 millimeters, and the progressive steering system - both of which are standard equipment.
